We’ll showcase our favorites in the PPB! photo gallery. Get silly. Lady Dada, give us your awe. Yes, Team Bling embraces puns like there’s no tomorrow. Bon Chance!
The rather handsome pic was taken at Boutique Nodus, located at 40 rue de Rennes. Let’s give props to the shirt and tie shop for some very clever window dressing. We’re impressed. It stopped us in our tracks!
The rue de Rennes shopping district has always been one of our favorite bargain stomping grounds. Thanks to Haussmann, the grandiose boulevard was tailor-made for nonstop promenading and snappy, happy shop hopping.
Stretching from the Montparnasse Tower to Boulevard Saint-Germain, rue de Rennes is a cool mix of old-school Parisian shops and hip chains like Etam, Darjeeling, Zara and Monoprix. Here you’ll also find affordable cafés, boulangeries and grocery stores. Picnicking just got easier!
For the love of juxtaposition, don’t forget to pack your camera! There’s plenty to see. Just point and shoot. In fact, photographer Eugène Atget shot a dragon here in 1900 at 50 rue de Rennes. Watch out for the blue door! Here’s another clew. It’s located kitty-corner to Zara and the Église de Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Sounds like heaven to us.
