In celebration of the grand-spanking-new year, I’m giving away a copy of Sofia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette” movie. How many times have I watched the flick? Your best is good as mine. Manolo Blahnik shines oh, sole brightly!
Feeling very much like Lady Bountiful, I’ll also throw in a copy of Caroline Weber’s “What Marie Antoinette Wore to the Revolution.” Blame it on the bubbly!

Here are a few crumbs! Belle Époch poster artist Jules Chéret designed their Saint-Germain tea salon and shop. Also, Sex and the City fans, Carrie Bradshaw “feasted here” during the season six finale. Bon Chance!

I am not really a shoe person…not too obsessed about shoes..a few is enough..
As I was watching Sofia Coppola at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival on TV, a couple of days ago, I couldn’t stop thinking about her stunning “Marie Antoinette” : the Converse, the Ladurée-inspired colors, The Strokes on the soundtrack, the grandiose Versailles … It took me a while to discover this post but I really like it !!!
YES. YES. YES. I’m with you! I’ve seen Sofia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette” film about fifty times. Plus, the soundtrack is on my “running-jogging” iPod. Perhaps it’s time for another M.A. post. This year, Ladurée Chef Vincent Lemains rolled out a “Marie Antoinette” macaron, with a matching set of gift boxes. It’s pale eggshell blue. Stay tuned! It’s gorgeous! T.
