Juggling social media platforms like a smooth operator (if I squint), I’ve recently added Instagram to my grapevine repertoire.

That’s right. During the month of November, I created a short stack of photographs of Paris—a baker’s dozen, to be exact! Pirouetting straight to the point: I am hooked. So stay tuned for more images.

In the meantime, if you are a fellow Instagram fan or fanatic, please leave a link to your Instagram portfolio below.

Always keeping my peepers peeled for inspiration, I’d love to pay a visit.

As Henry Miller once penned, “The moment one gives close attention to any thing, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.”

I completely agree.

In advance, thanks for sharing your own indescribably magnificent world, too—through your art!

So carpe the diem, folks! Keep on snapping!

    • Thank you, Rob! Your shots are gorgeous, of course. Your words, too! I’m not at all surprised.

I especially loved your nod to the fallen leaves. Lovely . . .

The lions. I’m still tracking down the name of the sculptor. I agree. They are beauties.

      Enjoy the day!

    • Oh, I think you should join the Instagram world. Again, it’s super easy to create an account. I have my sister to thank for giving me a push. I don’t know why I resisted for so long. Slowly, I’m connecting with our fellow WordPress friends.

Again, keep me in the loop. Do it. Just do it!

    • Well, feel free to ask questions! As you know, I love to shop and window shop.

And thanks for sharing your I.G. world, Sue. A wonderful combination of your watercolors and calligraphy. It’s also great fun and interesting to see your sketches. It’s all about the process!

    • Good. Golly. Dear Corey, it was difficult to stop strolling through your fantastical portraits of Paris.

My favorite: Your recent shot of the desk and typewriter at the Shakespeare & Co. Bookshop. A heartbreaker!

I also love how you play with light and texture. The line of café chairs is a beauty. YES. Yay for Instagram!

      Bravo!

    • Hello, Mary! Stay tuned for another stroll or two around the gardens. Just remember to stay off the grass. The whistle-blowing gents always catch me tip toeing on the grass to get a detail shot of a favorite statue. Always! Oh, la la.

      Enjoy the weekend!

It is a collection of my photography, my father’s photographs, miscellaneous images from negatives, transparencies and prints that I have acquired from people and Ebay. Please go and view, I have a lot of posts for using Instagram for just a year and a half. Also, leave a comment that you are a reader / fan of Theadora’s great blog. Thanks …. Frank

    • I found you on I.G., Frank! As you know, I’ve been a long time admirer of your photography, along with your father’s work. I just spotted the portrait of John Wayne and Edith Head at the TownHouse Motor Lodge on Cervantes Street in Pensacola Florida. Absolutely Fabulous! (I love E.’s skirt.)

  6. Great shots. I signed up to Instagram a while back, but was put off by the fact that I can only really upload stuff directly through my phone. Plus the camera on my phone is pretty poor!

  7. Ill always remember walking through the Jardin Du Luxembourg with my wife watching people at peace, doing yoga, martial arts and painting. We sat there for ages taking it all in! Your photo of the bench reminded me of this memory.
